1. Who this policy covers
Maiar Insights LLC is responsible for handling information collected through this website and public demo as described in this policy. This policy covers visitors, business inquiries, and users of website accounts where access is provided. Processing of a customer's production data under a separate service agreement may be governed by that agreement and its data-processing terms.
Privacy questions and requests can be sent to contact@maiarinsights.com.
2. Information collected and why
Contact inquiries: we collect the name, company, assets description, and seats needed that you enter, together with a submission reference and timestamp. We use these details to assess your needs, manage inquiries, and support business discussions. The form does not ask for an email address; if you email us, we receive your address and the message content you choose to send.
Accounts, where provided: we process account identifiers such as name, email, role, authentication information, and session records to enable and protect authorized access. Guest demo access stores a guest-session indicator rather than creating a personal account. Acceptance records contain a random receipt identifier, policy version, acceptance wording, and server timestamp; a matching receipt is saved in your browser. We use these records to document agreement to the demo terms. The acceptance record itself does not contain your name, email, IP address, or portfolio data.
Technical information: our application and hosting providers process connection and request information, which may include IP address, browser or device information, requested pages or endpoints, timestamps, response status, and security or diagnostic events. This supports delivery, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and service security.
Browser preferences: the site uses local storage to remember its light or dark appearance and your session. The Cookie Policy explains these items and how to remove them. The public website does not currently include advertising pixels or third-party behavioral analytics scripts.
Please provide business-level asset estimates only. Do not submit financial account numbers, payment-card information, client-level holdings, credentials, or other sensitive information through the Contact form or public demo.
3. When information is disclosed
Information may be accessed by people authorized to operate Maiar Insights and by service providers that support hosting, storage, maintenance, security, and communications. The website and its inquiry storage are hosted on Railway. Providers process information as needed to deliver their services and are subject to their applicable contractual and legal responsibilities.
We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business reorganization or transfer, subject to applicable protections. We may also disclose information at your direction.
Personal information collected through this website is not sold or shared for cross-context behavioral advertising. The current website does not use advertising cookies or targeted-advertising trackers.
4. Retention and security
Contact form fields and related inquiry records are deleted from active application storage after 12 months (365 days) without a substantive business interaction. The clock starts at submission and is updated when a substantive interaction is recorded. Automated housekeeping runs hourly. A documented legal hold can postpone deletion while preservation is necessary. If an inquiry becomes a customer relationship, necessary contract and customer records are managed separately under the customer agreement and applicable recordkeeping requirements. A deletion marker containing no form fields may remain for 30 days to prevent retries from restoring erased information; an external-copy review marker remains until that review is resolved.
Demo acceptance receipts are kept for 365 days, unless preservation is required for a documented legal matter. Account records are kept while access is active and thereafter only as needed for security, legal obligations, or disputes. Business email correspondence is reviewed under the same 12-month inactive-inquiry rule; required contract or legal records are retained for their applicable purpose. Browser storage remains until removed, replaced, expired, or cleared as described in the Cookie Policy. Copies in operational logs or backups may remain through their applicable retention cycles. We use access controls and technical measures intended to protect information, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
5. Your choices and privacy requests
You can choose not to submit the Contact form, clear browser storage, sign out, or ask us about information you have provided. Email contact@maiarinsights.com with your request and enough information to locate the relevant record; an inquiry reference is useful. Do not include passwords or sensitive identity documents in the initial message.
Depending on your location and which laws apply, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of personal information, correct it, request deletion, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or complain to a privacy regulator. California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of sale or sharing, and to limit certain uses of sensitive information, where applicable. Exercising applicable privacy rights will not result in unlawful discrimination.
Requests sent to contact@maiarinsights.com are handled by the Maiar Insights LLC privacy contact. We aim to acknowledge requests within 10 business days and respond within 30 calendar days, or sooner where law requires. If a lawful extension is needed, we will explain it within the original applicable deadline. We may need to verify your identity and, for an authorized agent, authority to act, using information appropriate to the request. We will respond as required by applicable law and explain any legally permitted limitations. Because the website does not sell or share information for cross-context behavioral advertising, no such activity needs to be disabled when a Global Privacy Control signal is present.
6. International visitors and children
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, where privacy laws may differ. Where applicable law requires safeguards or another lawful basis for a transfer, those requirements apply; using the website alone is not treated as a waiver of your privacy rights.
This business website and demo are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and address it.
7. Policy updates
Updates will appear on this page with a revised effective date. If a change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it as required. This policy describes the current website; additional services or new uses of information may require additional notices before they begin.
